CODEUP DIAGNOSTICS CARRIED OUT FREE MEDICAL TEST ON FRI. 29/09/2023

It was a thing of joy for the team of CodeUp Laboratory situated at Jakpa road in Effurun, to successfully carry out free medical test for the people living in Jakpa community in Effurun, which was done on Friday the 29th of September 2023 in preparation for our annual national independence celebration and with support from the BloodFuse brand. We believe that the journey to attain true freedom starts with been free from health related challenges and the first point of call is for one to know his or her health status. Thus we embark on this campaign towards contributing positively to the healthy status of our host community in line with the independence.

The campaign started with the distribution of handbills for the event in the previous day before the main event and this led to an interesting turn out by the people of Jakpa community for the free test. The main program started at about 11:00 am with a Health talk on the topic “The Importance of Regular Medical Check Up”, which was giving to the participants by Ms. Augusta Isaac, and thereafter Mr. Onose Ogaga advice participants on the need for them to help spread the word to others about the presence of the CodeUp Medical Laboratory in the community and for them to take advantage of its facilities. The camera was handled by Ms. Alisha O. Oveto and the entire free test activities was coordinated by Mrs. Ejiroghene O. Adeniyi.

Several tests which include: Hepatitis-B, RBS, Malaria, Urinalysis, Syphilis, Blood Group, etc were carried out and a total of 19 persons were tested for free. The CodeUp Laboratory Team on this programme include:
